year 2. 1 prep. dream come true?
Well . . . it happened. I jokingly called out my principal for awarding me this sweet parking spot to convince me to stay a 3rd year. He told me it wasn’t strategic and laughed it off. A third year is honestly looking pretty good, though . . . not for this reason, but I imagine more and more what it would be like to not have TFA or ASU on my plate. Just straight up good teaching.
Receiving public praise isn’t something I’m really into, so it was extremely awkward during the the staff meeting.
I should probably talk about the projects that I’ve been working on . . . or all of the student achievement that’s been going on in my classroom. I won’t for now. I will, however, say that Year 2 has been so very different. Here are a few quick snippets:
